What do we teach?

Our institute offers a variety of standard and specialised courses. All courses available through Al-Huda have been selected by our teaching staff for their excellence and suitability in facilitating the study and teaching of Arabic to non-native speakers.

We offer courses that are suitable for all levels of knowledge of Arabic - from courses for absolute beginners to advanced and specialist courses.

Standard courses

Al Arabiya Bayna Yadaik - العربية بين يديك

This course, based on a famous and widely used set of 3 books, is suitable for students wishing to study Arabic from beginner to intermediate levels. The books make extensive use of pictures and dialogue examples to enhance the student understanding.

The books are available for purchase online in all Western countries.

The course is 270 hours in total, each level/book taking 90 hours of tuition.

Al Kitaab Al Asasi - الكتاب الأساسي

Although this course is based on a set of three books, we only use the first book of this course because in our experience the second and third books are not suitable for beginner and intermediate levels. However, the second and third book can be used by students at advanced level.

The first book of this course is one of the most popular teaching materials in a large number of Arabic language schools all over the world.

This course is also available for purchase online in most Western countries.

The course is 90 hours in total. The book is divided into three levels, each level taking 30 hours of tuition.

Kitab Al Medina - كتاب المدينة

This course consists of three books prepared by the Islamic University in Medina. This course is suitable for beginner and intermediate levels.

The course is 180 hours in total, each level/book taking 60 hours of tuition.

Specialised Courses

Grammar

Al-ajrumiyya - الآجرومية

This famous book of Arabic grammar is suitable for students at intermediate levels and is aimed at those wishing to delve deeper into Arabic language.

Custom tuition hours depending on student's ability. Minimum tuition time - 60 hours.

Qatr an-Nada - قطر الندى

This grammar manual is aimed at advanced level students and introduces complex Arabic grammar topics.

Custom tuition hours depending on student's ability. Minimum tuition time - 180 hours.

Alfiyya ibn Malik - ألفية ابن مالك

This is a very advanced grammar text aimed at those wishing to achieve a very high level of proficiency in Arabic grammar.

Custom tuition hours depending on student's ability. Minimum tuition time - 600 hours.

Additional Courses

Additional courses, based on other classical Arabic texts, are available. Student requests for particular texts can also be accommodated.
